Terms & Conditions Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or engaging with our counselling and wellbeing services.


Well-Settled Limited – Client Contract (Therapy Agreement)

This Client Contract outlines the terms of the therapeutic relationship between Well-Settled Limited (“we”, “us”) and the client (“you”). By signing this document, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the terms below.


1. Purpose of Therapy


Therapy provides a confidential space to explore challenges, emotions, behaviours, trauma, relationships, and wellbeing goals. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed, but we will work collaboratively to support your needs.


2. Confidentiality


Everything you share in therapy is confidential except in the following circumstances:

Confidentiality may be broken if:

• There is a risk of serious harm to you or another person

• A child or vulnerable adult is at risk

• You disclose involvement in serious crime (e.g., terrorism, money laundering)

• We are legally compelled by a court order

• Information is discussed in professional supervision

(anonymised)

You will be informed wherever possible before confidentiality is broken.


3. Sessions, Fees & Payment

Session Duration:


50–60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

Fees:

• 1 Hour Initial Assessment Session: £50

• Therapy Sessions: £75 .

• Buy 4 Weeks Sessions & Get Free Assessment. (1 hour Per

Week) £300

• Buy 6 Weeks Sessions & Get 1 Session Free. (1 hour Per

Week) £450

• Buy 8 Weeks Sessions & Get 2 Sessions Free.( 1 hour Per

Week) £600

depending on service type

(Fees will be confirmed before therapy begins.)

Payment:

Payments must be made before or at the time of each session, unless a prior agreement exists.

Invoices for organisational clients will follow agreed contractual terms.


4. Cancellations & Missed Sessions


• You must give 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Sessions cancelled late or unattended may be charged at the full fee.

• Well-Settled will provide as much notice as possible if we must reschedule.

Repeated missed sessions may lead to therapy being paused or ended.


5. Online & Telephone Sessions

For remote therapy:


• You must be in a private and safe space

• A stable internet connection is required

• Well-Settled is not responsible for technical issues beyond our control

If disconnection occurs, we will attempt to reconnect or reschedule.


6. Emergencies


Well-Settled does not provide emergency or crisis services.

If you are at immediate risk or feel unsafe, contact:

• 999 (emergency services)

• NHS 111

• Your local Crisis Team

• Samaritans at 116 123


7. Record Keeping & GDPR Compliance

We keep brief notes to support high-quality, safe practice.


We comply with:

• UK GDPR

• Data Protection Act 2018

• Professional ethical guidelines

Records are:

• Stored securely

• Encrypted

• Confidential

• Retained for 7 years (longer for minors)

Your rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, etc.) are detailed in our Privacy Policy.


8. Ending Therapy


You may end therapy at any time.

We encourage at least one final session to reflect on progress and provide closure.

We may end therapy if:

• The work is complete

• Sessions are repeatedly missed

• Therapy is no longer appropriate

• There is a conflict of interest or safety concern

Where appropriate, we may offer referrals to other services.


9. Boundaries & Conduct


To maintain professional and ethical standards:

You agree to:

• Treat staff respectfully

• Refrain from attending sessions under the influence of drugs/alcohol

• Avoid dual relationships (e.g., personal or financial relationships with your therapist)

Your therapist agrees to:

• Work within professional boundaries

• Provide safe, non-judgmental support

• Keep your information confidential

• Treat you with respect at all times


10. Complaints Procedure


If you have concerns about the service:

1. Contact ws@well-settled.org

2. You may escalate to the therapist’s professional body if needed

(e.g., BACP, NCS, UKCP)

We aim to resolve all concerns promptly and fairly.


11. Consent & Agreement


By signing below, you confirm that:

• You understand this contract

• You agree to participate in therapy voluntarily

• You are aware of your rights and responsibilities

• You understand the confidentiality limits

• You consent to engage in therapy with Well-Settled Limited
